It’s easy to forgo a jacket now that summer’s officially begun, but if you want to conquer the air-conditioning indoors, you need to have one ready. The grey cardigan is always a great choice. Its neutral colour makes it easy to pair with whatever you’re wearing, providing you with the right amount of warmth. It’s the ultimate wardrobe essential even in June, July and August.
The grey cardigan usually acts as an additional piece to conquer the air-conditioning, but if you’re hanging out at the mall and find yourself wearing it all day, you might as well make it the star of your outfit. Here’s an ensemble that singles out grey as the main colour to create a monochrome look.

If you know me, you know I’m into building minimalist looks with basic pieces. The grey cardigan I’m wearing is a thrift store buy from Bangkok, Thailand. It’s a real steal, made with a soft, fine knit that doesn’t irritate the skin. I like the drop-shoulder design and how it’s long enough to keep my thighs warm. A simple white t-shirt, a grey midi skirt and pair of black loafers is all that’s needed to finish the outfit. Cute, casual, and comfortable!

If you’re on the hunt for a new cardigan, then grey is the colour to get. Brighter colours make nice accents, but grey is the best for mixing and matching. How about you? What colour do you prefer when it comes to cardigans? Let me know in the comments! 🙂
