A month ago, I entered a giveaway and won an afternoon tea experience at The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong. Tbh I’m not even an afternoon tea fan, but c’mon, who am I to turn down a free meal at The Ritz?
But first, some selfies…
Anyway, to secure a table, I made a reservation a month in advance. When the day came, I headed over to The Lounge and Bar on the 102nd floor of The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong to try the Autumn Harvest Afternoon Tea.
The tea set celebrates nature’s harvest and is made with seasonal ingredients such as pumpkin, cinnamon and chestnut. On the menu, you’ll find a selection of savoury bites with ridiculously long names like the Royal Smoked Salmon with Lemon Alioli and Truffle Eggs Salad; and the Ocean Blue Crab with Honey Mustard, Butternut Squash and Ricotta with Dark Wheat Bread. You’ll also find an assortment of mini confections like the Pumpkin Cinnamon Cheesecake; and the Hazelnut and Mirabelle Plum Verrine.
The Ritz is known for its scrumptious desserts and I certainly enjoyed the sweet treats in the tea set. My favourites were the signature Ritz-Carlton Chocolate Cake and the Classic and Dried Prunes and Orange Scones.
Priced at over $700 for two including service charge, the Autumn Harvest Afternoon Tea can be a little steep. But I suppose there’s nothing like dining to the view of Hong Kong’s skyline, a hundred levels up in the sky. Would you splash out on the tea set? Let me know in the comments!

This is right up my alley! I love afternoon tea sets, especially when I travel. The views over Hong Kong from there seem to be spectacular! I need to put this on my list for when I visit Hong Kong again!

Hi Charmaine, Indeed you are lucky to have got a chance to enjoy noon tea at a luxury hotel. The view from the top of the 100th floor must be awesome. I wish you had also posted a landscape photograph of the Hong Kong skyline from that high altitude for us to enjoy.
Nevertheless, it was a joy to see you enjoying there 🙂
